International Remembrance Day Ceremony - 2018
- Sat 14 Jul 2018
Family Drug Support, a national service providing 24-hour support for families impacted by others drug use, will mark the 21st Annual International Remembrance Day on Saturday the 21st of July with a ceremony in Brisbane’s Emma Miller Place, Roma Street to bring together families of those who have lost family members to accidental overdose, drug-related suicide and other drug related deaths. These events have brought comfort to many families over the years, as we focus on the people, not the drugs used. The simple ceremony, involving music, the reading of names and lighting candles, will take place at 11am.
If you know someone who has died and would like their name read and a candle lit please contact the head office of FDS on (02) 4782 9222
