Free training in screening for problem gambling

Are you a counsellor, clinician or GP working with people who have a dependency on drugs or alcohol or a mental health concerns? If so, it is possible your clients also have an underlying issue of problem gambling. To help you better detect and screen for problem gambling across these client groups free training is being made available.

Lives Lived Well will soon release a free two-session online learning module that will teach how to apply the Problem Gambling Severity Index (PGSI) and how to deliver brief interventions.

Free face-to-face training delivered over 90 minutes is also being offered. A training facilitator can now be invited to speak at internal training events or workshops.
